Creative Director, Artist, Manager
As a Creative professional in the video game industry, I specialize in
team building and leadership, top-level game design, Art direction &
Story development, and original IP product conception with a strong
understanding of market requirements.
Based in Vancouver, BC, I made my start doing kids’ games for the now-
defunct Motion Works back in 1994. Â After a subsequent 3 year stint at
Radical Entertainment, I co-founded Barking Dog Studios, where I
served as Art Director, sat on the board of Directors, and conceived
and pitched numerous original ip projects. Â In 2002, Barking Dog was
acquired by Rockstar Games, and is now known as Rockstar Vancouver.
I remained at Rockstar for several years, serving as studio Art
Director, responsible for a large, multidisciplinary team of artists.
Nowadays, I run and co-owns Vancouver development studio called Big
Sandwich Games (www.bigsandwichgames.com). Â At BSG, as we fondly refer
to it, I’ve built a crack team of industry vets and stunningly talented juniors.
I keep myself busy as President & Creative Director, overseeing the creative
side of development, pushing deals through and dreaming up the next best
thing in gaming.
